Playboy puts an end to photos of naked women

The popular magazine Playboy decided to end the publication of naked women on their pages, because he considers it an idea obsolete given the large number of images that can be found on the Internet.

Does not nude Playboy magazine? It seems pointless, but it will be the big bet publishers to relaunch the weekly October 1 this turned 62 years old.
The idea was Cory Jones, editor of the publication, who met with the owner of the magazine, Hugh Hefner to pose the proposal, which was eventually accepted, but that does not mean that non-erotic and provocative photos are published, he said
What caused such a dramatic shift? The changing times. Scott Flanders, CEO, Playboy, said in a dialogue with The New York Times that a printed magazine can not compete in the market of internet sexual fantasies.

"Today you're just a click every conceivable sexual act. And free, "he said. That's one of the main causes of a magazine that sold 5.6 million copies in 1975, has fallen to 800,000.
The new version of Playboy also aims to be more modern and attract younger readers and provide space for women to write columns about sexuality.
There will still photos of women, but from another angle. The idea is to abandon the conventional eroticism and move on to something more natural, with an intimate tone. In other words, something really different to the abundance of adult websites.
The launch of the new version of the magazine is planned for March, when it will present all renovations.
