Another enthralling weekend of action ended withManchester United earning their eighth Barclays Premier League victory against Southampton after going behind, the most comeback victories by one team against another in the competition's history.

  • Cesc Fabregas has assisted a goal in two of his three Barclays Premier League matches against Arsenal (both at Stamford Bridge).
  • Arsenal had two players sent off in a BPL match for only the third time, and the first since 1999 (v Tottenham Hotspur).
  • Chelsea have kept six clean sheets in their last eight league encounters with Arsenal, including the last five in a row. Arsenal have gone 482 minutes of top flight football without scoring against the Blues.
  • Arsene Wenger has won only one of his 15 meetings with Jose Mourinho as manager in all competitions (D6 L8).
  • Saido Berahino has scored in his last two Barclays Premier League matches at Villa Park. His last two league goals away from The Hawthorns have been there.
  • Of Berahino's 20 BPL goals, 16 have been scored in the West Midlands (14 at The Hawthorns, two at Villa Park).
  • West Brom have lost one of their last seven league matches on the road (W4 D2 L1), keeping five clean sheets in that run.
  • Tony Pulis has lost only two of his previous eight trips to Villa Park as a manager in the top flight (W2 D4).
  • Callum Wilson has scored five goals in his last four Barclays Premier League appearances.
  • Sunderland have conceded 10 first-half league goals this season. Chelsea (12) are the only other team to concede 10+ goals overall.
  • AFC Bournemouth beat Sunderland for the first time. They had drawn two and lost four of the six previous meetings across all competitions.
  • Sunderland are on a nine-match winless streak in the BPL (D4 L5), the longest current run in the competition.
  • Watford striker Odion Ighalo has scored 20 goals in 24 league appearances in 2015, more than any other player in the top four tiers of English football this year.

  • Everton have kept three successive clean sheets away from home in the Barclays Premier League for the first time since December 2013.
  • Swansea City have won one of their 24 meetings with Everton in all competitions (D8 L15).
  • Swansea have won three of their 16 BPL matches played in September (W3 D4 L9).
  • Kevin Mirallas was sent off two minutes and 16 seconds after coming onto the field. He is the only substitute to have been given a red card this season.
  • West Ham ended Manchester City's winning streak of 11 Barclays Premier League matches, a run which had begun with a win over the Hammers in April.
  • Victor Moses' strike was the first league goal City had conceded in 572 minutes.
  • Only three other sides have beaten Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City away in the same BPL season (Everton in 1995/96, Manchester United in 2004/05 and Chelsea in 2005/06).
  • Three of Kevin de Bruyne's last four league goals have been scored from outside the box (including matches with Wolfsburg).

  • Tottenham Hotspur's starting XI in this matches had the youngest average age of any team in a Barclays Premier League match in 2015/16 (24y 118d).
  • Son Heung-min became the seventh different player from South Korea to score in the Barclays Premier League.
  • He is the first player from South Korea to score for Tottenham Hotspur in the BPL, meaning players of 39 nationalities have scored for the club in the competition.
  • Spurs have lost one of their last eight league matches (W4 D3 L1).
  • Lucas Leiva made his 200th Barclays Premier League appearance against Norwich City. Only three South Americans have made more (Carlos Tevez, Antonio Valencia and Nolberto Solano).
  • Danny Ings scored two minutes and 54 seconds after coming on as a half-time substitute. His control and finish were his first touches after coming on.
  • Russell Martin has three BPL goals this season, making him the top-scoring defender in 2015/16 (ahead of Vincent Kompany and Joel Ward with two each).
  • Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 18 league matches against the Canaries, winning nine and drawing two.

  • Anthony Martial is the third player to score in both of his first two Barclays Premier League appearances for United, alongside Louis Saha and Federico Macheda.
  • United have come from behind to beat Southampton on eight occasions in the BPL, more often than any other team against a single opponent.
  • There were 45 passes in the build-up to Juan Mata's goal (Man Utd's third). This is the most before a top-flight goal since 48 leading up to Nacer Chadli's strike for Spurs against Queens Park Rangers in August 2014.
  • United scored with all three shots on target in this match, after scoring with all three in their last league match against Liverpool.
